Come Vintage Shopping With Me: Coco Beach
All things Chanel and wannabe Chanel
Hello! Excited to be back in your inbox today with some truly incredible vintage and secondhand finds. Today’s Come Vintage Shopping With Me is unique in that it is entirely inspired by a collection I cannot get out of my head as we inch closer and closer to summer: Chanel’s Resort 2027 Coco Beach Collection.
While I’m a big fan of everything Mathieu Blazy is doing for Chanel right now, he pretty much hit God status in my eyes with his interpretation of beachy, summery, carefree design for the storied brand in their Cruise 2027 collection. Enamel crab earrings?! Giant raffia bags?! Clownfish inspired accessories?! SIGN. ME. UP!
Alas, Coco Beach is not quiiiiite in my budget at the moment. So I decided to try and capture the essence of the collection via vintage finds, which I’m excited to share here today.
As always, the first find is open to all, a little amuse bouche to hopefully get you excited and convince you to upgrade. You’ll get access to this and all my future Come Shopping With Me letters, where I share only the best finds, hacks, dupes, ideas, and scores. Thank you in advance for your support.
Allons à la plage!
SHELL YEAH
We’re no strangers to the shell spell—it’s been around for many summers, even if it seemed to hit a fever pitch only last year with Juju Vera’s Petra Necklace going viral. But a Chanel shell is a special breed, and of course non-dupable…unless you’re looking to dupe the vibe. So many of the brand’s shell and aquatic-inspired accessories feel ripe for a vintage twist, so I put on my diving gear and went for a secondhand swim. And while I know these Mango earrings aren’t vintage, I stumbled across them on one of my deep-sea Daydream** dives, and felt they were too good not to share.
